How many times have you attended an interview, only to find that the role was quite different from the advertisement? At DB Consulting we believe in being up-front with people from the start; that way there are no misunderstandings. We will ask you the following questions at your interview, so why not take a couple of minutes to answer them now:

Q1. The companies we work for are as diverse as the technologies they use. Much of our success is due to our flexible and collaborative style of business and our ability to bring the best out of our teams of talented people.

Do you thrive on variety? Do you like to learn new technologies? Do you like to vary your role or the type of project you work on?

Q2. Most of our assignments are fixed price in nature and contain their own blend of commercial pressures and drivers. In addition to our clients being pleased, we must feel that the assignments are commercially successful. This commercial success requires our consultants to perform supplementary commercially-focused activities on each and every assignment we undertake.

Have you worked for a professional services company before? Do you appreciate the additional commercial pressures that you will face working for a consulting organisation?

Q3. The majority of our clients are located throughout the South of England, including the South Coast, Home Counties, London, M4 corridor and up in to the Midlands.

Do you have a current driving licence? Do you live in one of these areas and are you prepared to commute to client sites throughout these areas?

Q4. When resourcing assignments we strive to reduce the need for consultants to stay away from home. However, for some client locations this is at times unavoidable.

Would you be prepared to stay away from home 2 or 3 nights per week if the assignment dictated?
